Discover Langley City is a Destination Marketing Organization for Langley City. Since September 2017, the Downtown Langley Business Association has held the contract to provide tourism marketing for Langley City under the Discover Langley City umbrella. This is a stakeholder membership model with no cost to be a member of tourism-related businesses.
The prioritize for Discover Langley City are to promote Langley City as a destination to our residents and visitors by highlighting our unique tourism assets. We seek out cooperative marketing opportunities for our stakeholders to leverage the power of partnerships and implement communication and marketing initiatives to raise the profile of the area. We believe this will showcase Langley City and ultimately increase overnight stays.
Tourism is an important economic driver and contributed $18 Billion to the BC economy in 2018 and provides 138,000 jobs.
Tourism marketing can have a halo effect in a community and can influence people’s opinion on the destination as a potential place to live, start a family or a business, go to college, or retire.
Our goal as a destination marketing organization is to inspire visitors and increase pride amongst our locals.
