Magic of Christmas

The Provincial Health Officer and Minister of Health have directed that all public gatherings larger than 50 people be cancelled or postponed to curb the spread of COVID-19.  Due to this unprecedented situation that impacting us all, and the health and safety of our community members and employees, Langley City has had to make the tough decision to not host our annual Magic of Christmas Event in 2020.

However, we have decided to host a Countdown to Christmas featuring three Langley City Elves on the Shelf; see below to learn more.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we navigate this constantly evolving event, and work together for the health and safety of our staff, residents, and our community.

Elf on the Shelf Countdown to Christmas

Join Ally, Timmy and Doug, our Langley City Elves on the Shelf for their daily adventures as we countdown the days to Christmas. Each day their adventures will be posted on this page, and the Langley City Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

This morning we were just hanging around so we decided to add some additional decorations to the lobby at Timms Community Centre / Langley City Hall. If you visit the weight room or the library, don't forget to look up. #LCelfontheshelf

December 3

Ally hosted a zoom call with a few of our friends from the North Pole, as we have been away from them for just over 2 weeks. It was great to share stories about our adventures in Langley City so far. #LCelfontheshelf #elfontheshelf
